Died -- LEON EVANS, at the home of his parents, MR. and MRS. I.T. EVANS of Davis City, Saturday, April 20, aged 1 year, 2 months and 12 days. The funeral services were held at the Union Church Monday, April 21, by Rev. G.E. Mitchell, after which the remains of the little one were interred in the Davis City Cemetery.

The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the entire community.

Precious baby, how we miss thee,
No one else thy place can fill;
May we bow in meek submission
To our Heavenly Father's will.

Angels bore thy gentle spirit
To the realms of bliss away,
Now thou gatherest flowers immortal
In thy home of endless day.

We shall ne'er forget thee, darling,
Thy bright eyes of Heavenly blue,
On the other shore you're waiting;
Life is short -- a brief adieu.
