DIED.

EVANS - At her home in Lamoni, Iowa, Monday, December 10, 1894, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann EVANS, wife of Mr. John EVANS, aged 55 years, 1 month and 10 days.

Mrs. EVANS had been a great sufferer for about eighteen months from what was thought to be a tumor, and had received the deepest sympathy and kindest care from family and friends.

The funeral was from the Brick church Wednesday, December 12, at 3 p.m. The sermon was delivered by Elder W. W. BLAIR, at the special request of Mr. EVANS, husband of the deceased. The remains were laid to rest in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

The deceased leaves a husband, eight children and a host of other relatives to mourn her loss. Of the eight children, 3 girls and 5 boys, one girl is in Freemont county, Iowa, two boys in Arkansas, one boy in Kansas, and the rest in Lamoni.
