There's a pair of little hands
Laid to rest forever more;
There's two pearly dimpled cheeks
Whose rich blossoming is o'er.
Death has sealed two little eyes
That shall no more smile nor weep,
Tiny windows of the soul,
Little Harry's gone to sleep.

He will wake in fairer land
Where the angels' voices ring;
There the flowers shall expand.
There shall love's perfection bring.
Far beyond the azure sky
Where the tiny star-eyes peep,
Angels bore him safely there,
Darling Harry's gone to sleep.

We shall meet him that glad day
If we only are prepared,
When our Master bids us come,
Then we all shall meet him there.
What a meeting that will be
When we all are gathered home,
In the land that God shall give,
Where no death nor partings come.
