LUCINDA EDSON was born in Oneida County, New York, June 27, l827, was converted and united with the Congregational Church in l860; was married to NELSON C. SPENCER in l865. Be faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life. Rev. 2:l0. Grandma SPENCER fell asleep in Jesus at her home in Van Wert, Iowa, Jan. 30, l904, aged 78 years. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Tennant, of Van Wert, whose text was taken from Psalms l7:l5. She was laid to rest in the Van Wert Cemetery to await the Resurrection morn.
