DIED--April 30, l892, at her home in Grand River, Iowa, DAISY MAUD DAY,
aged l4 years, 7 months and 25 days.

She was born September 5, l877, and never was very strong, being
afflicted a greater portion of the time.  One week previous to her death
she was taken sick, and little did we think that so soon death would
claim her.  How true the words, "The old must die and young may die".

DAISY was a comfort and help to her widowed mother, and was patient and
loving with her brothers and sisters.  Friends and school mates knew her
but to love her.  A short time before her death, she gave her heart to
her Savior, and when the call came "to come up higher" she was ready and
waiting.

The funeral services were conducted by the writer at the church in Grand
River.  A large concourse of friends and acquaintances followed the
remains to the cemetery, where we laid the body to rest.
