Kenneth Aubrey Davenport OBITUARY
Kenneth Aubrey Davenport was born May 12, 1920 to Frank and Emma Evans Davenport at Leon, Iowa and passed away at his home in Van Wert, Iowa on February 20, 1985 at the age of 64 years, 9 months and 8 days.
Kenneth joined the Army in 1941 and served in the Red Horse Division 113th Cavalry. He served in the European campaign in World War II.
He had his own business in Des Moines, Iowa and Missouri several years, retiring in 1976.
He was united in marriage to Margaret Stanford Davis January 12, 1957.
Kenny was a loving husband and friend to all who know him. He was a member of Saint Brendan's Catholic Church in Leon, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; sister; stepson; mother-in-law; and 2 brothers-in-law.
Those left to mourn his passing are: wife, Margaret; brothers: Clifford, Orville and Forest; Sisters: Zelma, Etta and Mamie; father-in-law, Ralph Stanford; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews and many friends.
