Ringgold County:

DIED--At his residence in Decatur County, four miles southeast of
Kellerton, on Saturday, April l5, l893, at 6 o'clock p.m., JAS. DANIELS,
aged 49 years.  His death was caused by cancer of the stomach, he having
been sick about 7 months.

He was buried near Elk Chapel in Decatur County at 3 o'clock Sunday
afternoon by WM. MCDONALD Post No. 435 G.A.R., of Kellerton, of which
post he was a member, REV. B.F. MILLER conducting the services.  The
funeral sermon will be preached at the M.E. Church in Kellerton on
Sunday, May 7, by REV. B.F. MILLER.

MR. DANIELS was a former respected citizen of Kellerton and was the
father of W.A. DANIELS of that place.  He served through the late war in
defense of his country, and has always been one of the best and most
useful citizens of the community.
