MRS. HARVEY D. DYE, who for the past few weeks, has been lying at the
point of death with brain trouble, passed away at the family home in
Humeston, Wednesday morning. The lady had suffered greatly during her
illness in spite of all that skilled physicians and careful nurses could
do, and death came as a welcome relief from the great physical pain
which had racked her frail body for weeks.

The funeral will be held at the Baptist Church today (Friday) at ll
o'clock. The services being conducted by Rev. J.H. Perry, the Pastor,
and the remains interred in the Humeston Cemetery. MRS. DYE and her
husband moved to this city about two years ago from near Big Springs,
where the family had lived for many years. Deceased was a kind, gentle
old lady and had been a consistent Christian all her life. MRS. DYE was
the mother of MRS. R.C. HUTCHINSON and MRS. J.W. WINLAND, both of
Humeston, and has a number of other living children, some of whom are
expected to attend the funeral today, others probably being prevented by
the distance from their homes to Humeston.
