VOLNEY H. DORSEY was born in laporte, Indiana, February 26, l842, and
died in Clarinda July 30, l900. He came to Decatur County in l870 and
located in High Point Township. His wife and two sons survive him.
MRS. DORSEY resides in Leon, JOHN W. resides in Kenton, Ohio, and GRANT
lives in High Point Township.

More than twenty years ago, MR. DORSEY's mind gave way and he has passed
the time since then in the asylum. A highly respected citizen has gone
to rest.
