Subject: OBITUARY - JOHN S. DALE.

JOHN S. DALE died at his home, three and one-half miles northeast of
Pleasanton, last Sunday and the remains were laid to rest in the Dale
Family Cemetery, about one-half mile northeast of Boothtown, Tuesday
afternoon.
The funeral services were conducted at the home of the deceased by REV.
EATON of Grand River. The direct cause of the death of the deceased was
inflammation of the lungs, resulting from exposure about four weeks ago.
The deceased was a man highly honored and esteemed by the community in
which he lived. At the time of his death he was forty-seven years of
age, and had been born and reared in the township in which he resided at
the time of his death. With other relatives he leaves a wife and three
children to mourn his unexpected demise.
