Mrs. Mollie Combs, well known resident of Grand River, dropped dead Saturday evening [June 6] at the home of her daughters near Farragut, Iowa, where she had gone on a visit. Mrs. Combs was in apparent good health when she left home, and her death being caused from heart disease. Her body was brought to Grand River for burial [Young Cemetery], the funeral being held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. She was about 60 years of age.

Transcriber's Note: Mollie was born September 12, 1850, Wapello County, Iowa. She was the wife of William Combs (1828 - 1899).
