DIED--At her home in Morgan Township, January l7, l89l, MRS. JANE COMER,
aged 79 years.

Deceased was born in Virginia in l8ll, removed to Gallia County, Ohio,
in the early settlement of that country and from there to this county in
l865.  She embraced the Christian religion in early life, having been
identified with the Methodist people for many years previous to her
death.  The profession she had made was ever adorned by an upright walk
and a chaste conversation.

Her every day life showed the trusting, abiding faith she had in Him who
hath said "I will never fail thee nor forsake thee".

During her last sickness, although helpless for nearly four years, she
was ever patient, always appreciating the kindness of those loving ones
who so tenderly cared for her.  She leaves four children, an aged sister
and other relatives to mourn her loss, although realizing that their
loss is her great gain.  After prayer at the house of mourning by BRO.
BLEDSOE, the congregation singing that beautiful hymn, "What, Though
Clouds are Hovering O'er Me", her remains were taken to the Union grave
yard, where they were laid to rest in the family burial lot to await the
resurrection of the just.
