I have an obit of my greatgrandmother, Rebecca A.(Kerr) Cartwright that some of your readers may find of interest.  Her bro. Billy (Kerr) Carr is buried in Decatur CO.  I've been to the gravesite, in a pasture if I remember correctly.
They are the children of Edward & Jane (Swanson) Kerr.  Rebecca was born in Gallia CO Ohio and  Married Christopher Cartwright in Decatur Co, IA.  They homesteaded in Ness CO. Ks.  Here's the obit.

Died- Mrs. Rebeckah A. Cartwright at her home in Bazine Township Oct. 2nd, in the 47th hear of her age.  She had been sick the three last years of her life-a great sufferer most ot the time.  As the end drew nigh  she said "It is well.  I am ready and willing to go and lie at rest".  The furneral services took place at the M. E. Church at Bazine.  Rev. Goodrich officiating.  The text was Psalms 23 chapter, 4th verse. "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
      Affliction much our sister knew,
The three last years gone by,
But oh!  At length the prisoner's free.
And lives no more to die.

Yes, death to her as only life.
For long she sighed to go.
To quench the thirst her suffering gave,
          Where living waters flow.
                                                 M. J. B.

She died in 1887.
