Subject: OBITUARY - MISS ELIZA COMBS.

MISS ELIZA COMBS died at her brother's residence near Cainsville, Mo.,

last Sunday of consumption.

Deceased was born in Mapleton, Stark County, Ohio, November 29, l852,

and came to this county in l857. She was a member of the Christian

Church for many years and a consciencious Christian. She followed the

occupation of school teaching in which line she was quite successful.

The body was brought to Leon Tuesday and laid at rest in the cemetery.

ELDER STEVENS conducted a short service at the grave. Deceased leaves

three brothers and one sister to mourn her departure. Her relatives and

large circle of acuaintances will miss her and mourn her untimely

demise.
