Died, at her home in High Point Township, June l6, l898, after a short

illness, MRS. M.F. H. CARPENTER, wife of LYON CARPENTER. She was born

in this county, March 23, l869, and was married to LYON CARPENTER,

October l3, l892.

She leaves a husband and three little children to mourn her loss, the

youngest child being but three weeks old and the oldest five years. She

was a loving wife, a kind mother and a good neighbor.

She was conscious almost to the last, and died trusting in God. She was

buried in the cemetery at High Point, the services being conducted by

REV. J.F. HITCHCOCK.
