CREVELING - At Leon, Iowa, February 11, 1895, of paralysis, Mrs. Eliza CREVELING, aged 71 years. She was brought to the home February 12, when the funeral was held at the home of Mr. C. CREVELING. The services were conducted by Rev. MITCHELL of Davis City. The remains were interred at the Creveling grave yard. Mrs. CREVELING came to Decatur county in 1856, and has resided here ever since.

Died, in Leon, Iowa, February 11, l895, of heart trouble, MRS. ELIZA CREVELING, aged 7l years, 3 months and 2 days. She was born in Northampton County, Penn., November 9, l823. Married CLEMUEL CREVELING May 22, l847, in Bloomesburg, Columbus Co., Penn.; moved to Iowa with her husband in l854, to Decatur Co., in l856.
She with her husband, united with the M.E. Church in l870, has lived a consistent member ever since. She was the mother of nine children, four dead and five living, who attended the funeral, that was conducted by Rev. Geo. E. Mitchell, Pastor, at the residence of the deceased near Lamoni.
After the service the remains were interred in the family Cemetery on the Creveling estate. The deceased had been in failing health for some time. Her last sickness was of short duration. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community.
