OBERT CRAIG was the son of ROBERT and CATHARINE CRAIG, born in Pennsylvania, March 22, l8l5, and at an early age moved with his parents to Ohio, where he was united in marriage to SARAH GODLOVE on December 28, l84l. In l846 he and his good wife came out to Iowa, which was a very new country at that time, and made their future home and reared their family here. To them were born ten children, eight of whom are living, four sons and four daughters. His companion preceded him in death one and a half years.

He united with the Methodist Church at the age of 26 years and was a faithful and consistent member until death -- sixty years a devout Christian. He was a man who attended pretty much to his own affairs, and consequently always had plenty of friends. After a long and tedious illness, on Wednesday, November l4, about 9:00 o'clock in the evening he closed his eyes on all that was mortal that he might open them on scenes immortal, and meet his companion, who is awaiting him. Aged 95 years, 7 months and 22 days.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 11 a.m. at the M.E. Church, conducted by Rev. Jones. The funeral will leave the house at l0:30.

--Riverside (Ia.) Leader.

The deceased was the father of W.W. CRAIG and MRS. W.J. TATMAN, of this city. MR. CRAIG attended the funeral, MRS. TATMAN being unable to go.
