COSHOW - At the residence of her son-in-law, Elder J. L. RICHEY, in Lamoni, Iowa, May 18, 1897, at 5 p.m., Mrs. Sarah Ann COSHOW, nee HANKINS, of Lagrippe Sequell. She embraced the faith of the M. E. Society at the age of 13 years, since which time she has ever remained a faithful consistent member of that church. January 1, 1846, she joined her life to that of Isaac MILLER, by whom she had two children, Mary Margaret and John C. Mr. MILLER deceased May 25, 1850. John C. went to California, since when nothing has been heard of him.
April 27, 1856, she was united in wedlock to Robert COSHOW. This union resulted in three children - Frank, George B. (both residing in Missouri), and Christiana, who died in Illinois. Once more death robbed her of her companion, to battle alone in the world. She has lived an exemplary life of patience, forbearance, kindness. She leaves three living children, eight grandchildren, and 4 great grand children.
Services were held at the M. E. Church at 3 p.m. yesterday in charge of Elder John D. BENNETT, funeral discourse by Rev. MITCHELL of Davis City, Iowa.
