JASON BENNETT was born in Green County, Ind., May 9, l852, and died at Garden Grove, Ia., Oct. l4, l898. He was from early boyhood taught the way that leads to righteousness and truth, was always a tender hearted obedient boy. His educational advantages were well improved. He gave his heart to God when very young and has been a faithful Christian member of the church. He was not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. He loved to testify of the goodness of his Master and his faith in God was unshaken. He was a kind husband, a good neighbor and Christian gentleman. He bore his illness like a brave soldier without complaint. He fell asleep in Jesus and is at rest with the redeemed of God. He leaves a wife and four girls, may God bless and keep them.

The funeral was held at the High Point M.E. Church, Sunday, Oct. l6, l898.
