AT REST
BEDELL - Mrs. Caleb M. Bedell passed away June 16th, 1893, at 4:45 a.m. Funeral at the residence six miles north of Lamoni, Ia. at 10 a.m. Buried at Decatur City, Ia. Born in Ft. Erie, Canada West, Dec. 9th, 1857. Joined the Methodist church, was converted at Port Union, Ohio, when 11 years of age, and remained a faithful Christian until her death. Was married to C. M. Bedell Dec. 14, 1876. Husband, two boys and one girl remain to mourn her loss. Mrs. Bedell, aged 35 years, 6 months and 7 days.

Sweet be they rest, O, worn and weary sufferer,
Blest be thy sleep, for God hath closed thine eyes;
Earth's noisy din shall never break they slumbers;
All thou do'st hear is music of the skies.

Rest weary traveler, rest, they journey's ended.
Life's stormy paths and murmuring waves are past;
Heaven's golden sun beams, heaven's brighter powers,
And heaven's pure gladness all are thine at last.
