HORSE KILLS T. ALBAUGH
____________________Animal reared up and fell on him at Van Wert Monday
____________________It resulted in his death
____________________Mr. Albaugh was one of the Well known Farmers of that Portion of the County.
____________________T. Albaugh was crushed to death by a horse he was riding at his home near Van Wert last Monday. The animal became frightened and reared up and fell backwards crushing Mr. Albaugh beneath its body. The accident was witnessed by people near and Dr. Belding was quickly summoned from Van Wert to attend him. Everything possible was done to save his life. But the injuries were too severe and he passed away within a few hours after the unfortunate accident occurred.
His daughter Miss Leta Albaugh, of LaHarpe, Illinois was notified and came to Van Wert at once accompanied by her aunt, Mrs. Naomi Kerr, also a resident of LaHarpe. The body has been taken to Illinios, his old home for burial. Mr. Albaugh had resided in Van Wert for some years. He was well known in Leon.
