The Leon Reporter Leon, Decatur County, Iowa Thursday, February 1, 1923 LUTHER J. BENNETT vs. GOLDIE BENNETT. These parties were married in Decatur County in August, 1919. Plaintiff asks for a decree of divorce on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment, that defendant is a woman of violent, jealous and ungovernable temper, and has attacked him on numerous occasions and threatened to kill him. He also asks that he be permitted to visit their minor son at reasonable times and places. J.S. Parrish, Attorney for Plaintiff. LIZZIE MCDOWELL vs. JOHN MCDOWELL. These parties were married in Decatur County on Dec. 29, 1904. Plaintiff asks for a decree of divorce on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment, alleging her husband has on numerous occasions struck her and accused her of improper conduct with other men. She also asks for custody of their seven minor children and be awarded alimony in the sum of $5,000. J.S. Parrish, Attorney for Plaintiff. OLIVE DOBSON vs. LEON DOBSON. These parties were married at Leon on Feb. 24, 1920. Plaintiff asks for a decree of divorce on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment and failure to support, alleging that defendant has struck and beat her. She also asks for the custody of their two minor children, that she be awarded temporary alimony of $200, and permanent alimony in such sum as the Court may deem proper. J.S.
