These parties were married in Lamoni March 16, 1910, and lived together until Dec. 24, 1914. Plaintiff brings action for the annulment of a marriage ceremony performed between him and the defendant on August 17, 1913, alleging that at the time of said ceremony the defendant was incapacitated from entering into a marriage contract being at that time in truth the wife of one Charles Bowen, having married him at Rock Island, Ill. That since her marriage to plaintiff she has been guilty of adultery with various persons. He asks that said marriage contract to be annulled and if the evidence is not sufficient to warrant the annulment that he be granted a divorce. Marion Woodard and C. W. Plaintiff alleges her husband has threatened to kill her and her children and fails to provide for them. The Reporter was being printed at the time Judge Evans adjourned court last Wednesday. Before adjourning, the divorce case of Ida L. Edwards vs. John H. Edwards was tried to the court and a divorce was granted the plaintiff. The parties are residents of Grand River. New Court Cases. Ona Stevens vs. Henry E. Stevens. The parties were married in Wayne county, April 3, 1899, and lived together until 1903. Plaintiff asks for a decree of divorce on the grounds of desertion, and that she have the custody of their minor daughter. C. W. Plaintiff for the second time is suing for a divorce. The parties were divorced at Corning, Iowa, in 1909, and on June 22, 1913, were remarried at Des Moines and lived together until April 1, 1914, when she says she had to leave him of starve as he did not make a living for her and their children, and had become a habitual drunkard. These parties were married at Kearney, Neb., Jan. 27, 1882, and lived together until April 17, 1915. Plaintiff asks for a divorce on account of cruel treatment of her and their children, and failure to properly provide for them, until she was finally compelled to take their five children and go to the home of her mother at Perry, Iowa. She alleges her husband has $12,000 worth of real estate and about $4,000 worth of personal property and she asks that she be allowed $500 for attorney fees, $100 for cots and $300 temporary and $5,000 permanent alimony. Plaintiff and defendant were married at Leon on March 16, 1911 and lived together until May 7, 1915. Plaintiff asks for a decree of divorce alleging defendant has treated her in a cruel manner, has kicked her and locked her out of the house and was continually nagging and tantalizing her. Plaintiff alleges her husband has become an habitual drunkard and has treated her in a cruel and unhuman (sic) manner. She asks for a decree of divorce, $500 temporary and $2,000 permanent alimony.
