H. A. White, of Kellerton, was married to Miss Mollie Avery, by Rev S. Johnson at the residence of the bride's parents in Leon at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Mollie was formerly a Journal typo, a good girl, and Hugh is one of the best hearted men in Ringgold County. The congratulations of the entire working force of this office accompany them in their new relations.

January's stormy, bleak and drear,
Coal is high, and blankets dear,
Happy are they who thus conform,
To keep each other snug and warm.
