At the home of W.S. BRANAMAN, in Decatur Township yesterday at l o'clock, occurred the wedding of MR. CHARLES S. WEISS, of Chicago, and MISS TRESSA MAY REDMAN, the ceremony being performed by Rev. I.N. Woodward, Pastor of the Leon M.E. Church, in the presence of a number of relatives and friends.
After the congratulations of those present all sat down to an elaborate wedding dinner, to which full justice was done.
The bride is the daughter of FRED H. REDMAN, and is one of the most popular young ladies of the west side of the county. The groom is a comparative stranger here, but is highly spoken of as an upright and exemplary young man, holding a good position in the employ of the elevated railroad of Chicago.
MR. and MRS. WEISS will spend a couple of weeks with friends here before leaving for Chicago, where they will make their future home. Many friends extend hearty congratulations and wish them a safe and prosperous journey o'er the troubled sea of matrimony.
