MR. C. ROBERT TURNER, of west of town, and MISS MAUD BROWN, of Tuskeego, were quietly married at the Parsonage of the Christian Church in this city on Wednesday morning, March 6, l90l, the ceremony being performed by Eld. R.W. Castor.
The groom is one of the energetic young men of Decatur County who has pushed himself forward by his own efforts, and he has won a charming and worthy young lady for his bride. She is the eldest daughter of ex-Recorder, CHAS. H. BROWN, and during the time her father was in the Recorder's office, she was his very efficient Deputy.
Both of the contracting parties are well and favorably known to a majority of our readers, and we join with them in extending hearty congratulations to this most worthy young couple.
MR. and MRS. TURNER will make their home on a farm west of Leon and all their friends unite in wishing them a long, happy and prosperous journey on the sea of matrimony.
