At the bride's residence on the east side, last Friday, May 9, occurred the marriage of one of the oldest couples ever married in Decatur County, that of MR. WM. P. TONEY to MRS. R. CHIVINGTON. Mr. W.W. Scott officiated in uniting this aged couple, the bride being 7l years of age and the groom will soon have passed the 80 mark. The couple went immediately to housekeeping where their friends wish them happiness and joy during the remainder of their stay upon earth.
