Leon Reporter, Leon, Iowa

Readers of The Reporter will be surprised this morning to learn of the marriage of two of Leon's most estimable young people, for the contracting parties had kept their intentions to themselves, not even taking their parents into the scheme. Last evening MR. ORA TEALE and MISS GRACE ALBAUGH quietly betook themselves to the M.E. Parsonage and were united in marriage by Rev. Geo. M. Hughes. They are at home this morning in their own household, having the residence recently vacated by Mrs. Jennie Haskett on North Main Street all nicely furnished, and ready to commence housekeeping. The groom is the senior partner in the clothing firm of Teale & Wharton, a model young man, and one of the best business men of the city. His bride is the daughter of ex-Mayor, W.H. Albaugh. She is an accomplished young lady, a graduate of the Leon High School and had been elected as a teacher in the Leon Schools for next year. The congratulations of The Reporter is extended to the happy couple and their legion of friends will wish them long years of happiness and prosperity.
