MARRIED: -- MISS ESTELLA THARP, of this city, and MR. E.G. STEWART, of Sabetha, Kansas, at the M.E. Parsonage, Monday evening at 6 o'clock; Rev. A.H. Rusk officiating. This wedding was a very quiet affair and came as a complete surprise to even the intimate friends of the bride. The only guests who witnessed the ceremony were the bride's brother, JOHN and her friend MISS MAGGIE BOLON. MISS STELLA was well known and well liked by all who knew her, and her sweet, quiet ways won for her many friends who regret to lose her from their midst, but who wish her unlimited happiness in her new home. The groom is a stranger to us but is a very pleasant appearing man and we hope is in every way worthy of the bride he won.

MR. and MRS. STEWART left Tuesday noon for their future home in Sabetha, Kansas, where MR. STEWART is engaged in the implement business. The Advance will keep them posted on affairs in Davis City.

May joy, peace and happiness follow them -- is our wish.
