MRS. EMMA MCKEEHAN, of our city, and T.W. SHOCKLEY, of Tonganoxie, Kansas, were united in matrimony at the home of Fred Neice in Leon, Saturday evening at 8 o'clock, R.H. Caster, officiating. The bride is well known here, this having been her home until she moved to Kansas some years ago. She returned to her old home from Tonganoxie a few weeks ago and now with her husband has taken possession of her property upon which extensive repairs are being made. The groom is a stranger to us but is a quiet, pleasant appearing gentleman and we are glad he is to make his home among us.
