Married, at the home of the bride, Wednesday evening, March 23d, W.R. RICHARD and MISS ELIZABETH MCKIBBEN, Rev. L. Bradford, Pastor of the M.E. Church, officiating. The wedding was a quiet affair, only immediate relatives of the contracting parties being present. The marriage of this estimable couple is a happy event indeed. MR. RICHARD is a son of MR. and MRS. R.R. RICHARD, and one of our choicest citizens and business men. For several years past he has been head salesman in F.T. McKibben's store, where he enjoys the highest esteem of his employer and all connected with the store, and is very popular with the public. Thoroughly upright, honest and just, he has won the friendship and highest esteem of every acquaintance, and they include nearly everyone in this part of the county. MISS MCKIBBEN is the daughter of JOHN MCKIBBEN, a lady of culture and refinement. She takes a deep interest in church and charitable work, and her many womanly graces have won the esteem and admiration of a wide acquaintanceship.
MR. and MRS. RICHARD left shortly after the ceremony for Chicago. They returned home yesterday and will immediately begin housekeeping in the Axline property in the east part of town, which MR. RICHARD recently purchased. The New Era joins their host of friends in extending congratulations.
