In Long Creek Township, Feb. l7, l904, at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. GEORGE SMITH, occurred the marriage of their youngest daughter, CARRIE to GEO. C. REDMAN, Rev. S. Samson officiating. MISS CARRIE REDMAN played the wedding march as the bride and groom entered and took their places near the bay window at the south side of the room, where they were united in the bonds of holy matrimony. The ceremony was witnessed by a large circle of friends and relatives. After congratulations the company were invited to the dining room and partook of a most bounteous feast of the best of luxuries.
The bride and groom are both well known in this community, the bride having been born and raised in Decatur County. She has a fine education, is accomplished and refined in manner and is highly respected by all who know her. She is in every way worthy to be the wife of GEORGE REDMAN, who is an industrious young man of thrift and enterprise. He has provided a fine home where he and his accomplished bride will soon set up housekeeping. The bride and groom were presented with a number of nice presents. All join in wishing them a prosperous voyage through life.
