On Sunday, July 25, at high noon a very pretty wedding occurred at the home of REV. and MRS. J.H. EDWARDS, near DeKalb, when their daughter, IVA, was invited in marriage to MR. JOHN B. REDMAN. As the last strains of the wedding march, played by Miss Carrie Redman, sister of the groom, died away, the bridal couple appeared and took their places beneath a lace drapery which was profusely decorated with flowers and ferns, and REV. J.H. EDWARDS, father of the bride, pronounced the beautiful ceremony which made them husband and wife. After the ceremony and congratulations of the guests, an elegant wedding dinner was served.
The bride is a beautiful and accomplished young lady who is known and loved by a large circle of friends, and one who will be a true helpmate to the man of her choice. The groom is the oldest son of MR. and MRS. W.B. REDMAN, and is one of our most popular young men. The ceremony being a quiet affair, only the relatives and most intimate friends were present. A large circle of friends join us in extending to this happy young couple our congratulations and best wishes for a long, happy and prosperous life.
