At the residence of A. MARKHAM, at Leon, Iowa, MR. W.M. MAPES of Smith's Siding, Iowa, and MISS GERTIE PUTNAM, of Akron, Missouri, were united in the bonds of holy matrimony on Feb. l2, l902, by Rev. I.N. Woodward, Pastor of the M.E. Church. These young people start out auspiciously in life. They will take up their residence on a farm near Smith's Siding. The best wishes of their friends are cordially extended.
