Sunday afternoon as the clock struck one, "two souls with but a single thought, two hearts that beat as one" were united, the happy parties being MR. J.H. POST and MRS. ADLENE HANSEN, both of this city.

The wedding occurred at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. M.V.B. SMITH, and was a very quiet affair. The ceremony was performed by Elder J.C. Snively of Lamoni.

The groom is one of our energetic business men, and is a member of the firm of Harvey & Post, the leading lumber firm of this county. His dealings are always fair and honest. The bride is an accomplished lady, and for the past five years has had charge of the Millinery Emporium, and has won many friends by her pleasant manners.

MR. and MRS. POST departed Sunday for Knoxville to visit MRS. POST's brother, and will visit Des Moines before returning home. The ADVANCE wishes them a life of joy, peace and prosperity.
