MARRIED: --MR. THOMAS PENNISTON to MISS LUCY STANLEY on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at the home of the bride's parents in Mt. Ayr, Ia. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Calhoun of the United Presbyterian Church at 6 p.m., after which an excellent supper was served. Only the immediate relatives of the bride were present. MISS STANLEY but recently moved from this city to Mt. Ayr with her parents and has a host of friends here. MR. PENNISTON is a well known young man of our city and is a respected and worthy citizen.

The happy couple returned to our city last Thursday and will make their home here. We extend our congratulations.
