At six o'clock p.m. New Year's day at the home of the bride's parents in Grand River Township, MR. and MRS. WM. and MARY PENCE, MISS MARGARET A. PENCE was united in marriage to MR. EUGENE R. NOBLE, of Big Piney, Wyoming, Rev. I.T. Flint, of Eldon, officiating. MISS MARY SPRINGER and MR. DAVIS GOFF, both cousins to the bride, acted as bridesmaid and groomsman. The bride was attired in an elegant white silk dress while the groom wore the usual black suit. Many gifts were bestowed as expressions of the love and esteem in which the happy couple is held. The wedding supper was bounteous enough in varity to gratify the most fastidious. The guests and relatives enjoyed one of the best social reunions known in this locality for years. Mirth, and conversation mingled with vocal and instrumental music banished all thought of the time until near the hour of midnight, then came the farewells with the thought "shall we meet again?" with the attendant growing doubt, not all, no never."
MISS PENCE is known by all to be an estimable young lady. MR. NOBLE was born and raised in Henry County, Iowa, but as many other Iowa boys, he went west and is now a ranchman near Big Piney, Wyoming, where the couple will reside in the future. The morning after the wedding they went to Henry County, after which with a brief stay here, they will start to begin a new life in the green valleys and a cozy home in the mountains of Wyoming. All who became acquainted with him were favorably impressed with his personality, and many are the heartfelt wishes for their future welfare and prosperity.
