Married at the home of the bride's parents near Elk Chapel on January 23, l90l, at 5 p.m. MR. ISAAC BEDELL and MISS BERTHA NAYLOR. The guests were assembled in the parlor when at the strains of the wedding march rendered by Miss Pearl Fowler, the bride and groom with well timed steps, approached the sacred altar where Rev. Moyer of the U.B. Church, after a short prayer in a very solemn manner, pronounced them as one. After congratulations the guests repaired to the dining room and partook of a bountiful repast. The evening was spent in pleasant conversation interspersed with music. Near the hour of nine, the company dispersed expressing many kindly regards to the happy pair whose prospects for the future seem very bright.
The bride was attired in white corded silk trimmed in cream satin and ribbon. The groom wore the conventional black. They were the recipients of many useful presents.

Bedell; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Naylor; Mr. and Mrs. Fain Naylor; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Stephens; Mrs. Rosette Cash, of Decatur; Miss Susan Bedell, of Decatur; Caleb Bedell and daughter, Gerrota; Sherman Bedell; Everett Bedell, Miss Ida Wellington, of Lamoni; Miss Carrie Grayson; Miss Pearl Fowler, D.E. Millsap, Sidney Grayson.
