At the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. W.E. MYERS, at 5:30 o'clock Wednesday evening was solemnized the wedding of their eldest daughter, MISS B, to DR. CLARK MORRIS, of San Antonio, Texas, the ceremony being performed by Elder H.H. Hubbell, Pastor of the Christian Church in the presence of about thirty guests.

The wedding was a quiet home affair, without pomp or ostentatious display. The bride looked charming in a costume of white crepe De Chine over white silk, trimmed with pearl trimmings, and carried a bride's bouquet of white rose buds.

After the ceremony and congratulations, the guests partook of an elaborate wedding dinner, the decorations of the dining table being the same as those of the parlor, white carnations and smilax.

The bride is one of Leon's most beautiful and accomplished young ladies, who is loved by all who know her. During her residence in this city she has endeared herself to a large circle of dear friends who extend their heartiest congratulations. The groom is a stranger in this city, having formed the acquaintance of his bride a few years ago while he was attending the Still College of Osteopathy at Kirksville, Mo., but comes of a splendid family and has a reputation as a young man of sterling worth and integrity. He is employed as general salesman for the Stimpson Computing Scale Co., his territory being the State of Texas with headquarters at San Antonio.

A large number of beautiful and costly presents testified to the esteem in which this worthy young couple are held by their friends.

DR. and MRS. MORRIS left on the 8:35 train on a wedding trip, going first to Burlington, where they will take a steamer and go down the river to St. Louis, where they will visit a couple of weeks at the World's Fair before proceeding to their home at San Antonio, Texas. They will be at home at Hotel Menger, San Antonio, after August l5th.

The out of town guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Tod Nicholson, Mr. and Mrs. L.J. Barr and daughters, Verna and Ruth, Miss Lelah Hopkins, of Lamoni; Miss Ceva Bezold, of Waterloo.
