At the residence of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. A.J. ALLEN, at 6 o'clock last evening occurred the wedding of DR. R.C. MORRIS and MISS BLANCHE ALLEN, the ceremony being performed by Rev. W.H. Ilsley, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church, in the presence of relatives and a few intimate friends, the affair being a quiet home wedding, the wedding march being played by Miss Grace Yengel, of Chariton. Following the ceremony a wedding repast was served, and DR. and MRS. MORRIS left on the evening train for St. Louis to spend their honeymoon. Upon their return they will go to housekeeping in the Bradley cottage in east Leon formerly occupied by O.T. Conrey.

Both of these young people have many friends who extend congratulations. The groom since he located here about a year ago has made himself very popular and built up a fine dental practice. In his bride he has won one of Leon's charming young ladies, who has spent all her life here and is endowed with all the qualities to make a fitting helpmate for the man of her choice.

The out of town guests were C.F. Roeder, of Sioux City; Miss Grace Yengel, of Chariton; Mrs. D.R. Dudley, of Chicago.
