DAVID MCCUTCHAN and MAE GORE were quietly married at the residence of the bride's father, Z. GORE, by the Rev. F. Edwards, of Osceola, at high noon, May 26, l90l. The bride and groom were handsomely attired in suits becoming to the occasion and appeared attractive to the few relatives and friends who witnessed the ceremony.
After the words were impressively spoken by the clergyman making them man and wife, the guests were invited to the dining room to partake of a sumptuous dinner prepared by MRS. GORE, which was soon relieved of its burden by the surrounding guests. After dinner was over a group of the young people collected in the parlor where a nice song service was conducted which formed a pleasant oasis in life.
MR. MCCUTCHAN is an industrious, energetic young farmer of Hamilton Township, a young man of good habits, with a hopeful outlook before him and has captured a prize. See Prov. l8 and 22. The bride is the second daughter of ZEDRIC GORE and wife, a young lady of industrious habits, amiable, acquisitious, good, social qualites and a religious girl, with the promise of a useful life before her. May the sunshine of a prosperous and happy life attend them through the voyage of this happy union into which they have entered.
--F. EDWARDS.
