         MCCONNELL-MCDOWELL MARRIAGE.

MR. HARLEY MCCONNELL and MISS FREDA MCDOWELL, two well-known young people of the vicinity of Grand River, came to Leon last Saturday and secured a marriage license, and Justice A.M. Pryor officiated in performing the marriage ceremony.  The happy young couple were accompanied to Leon by MISS ATHA DAVIS and MR. HARRY JONES, all returning to Grand River the same day.  MR. and MRS. MCCONNELL will make their home on a farm near Grand River and many friends extend congratulations and well wishes.
