On Tuesday evening, June 25th, at 8 o'clock, at the home of the bride's parents in this city, occurred the marriage of MR. ANDREW MCCARTNEY and MISS DELLA ELLIOTT, the ceremony being performed by Rev. R.W. Castor, Pastor of the Christian Church.
It was a quiet home wedding, only the immediate family being present. The groom is the manager of the Leon Creamery and is a most exemplary and upright young man. Since coming to Leon a few years ago, he has made many friends by his cheerful and courteous manners. The bride is the youngest daughter of MR. and MRS. S.H. ELLIOTT and no words of praise need be spoken of her. Born and raised in this city, her life is like an open book and MR. MCCARTNEY has certainly drawn a capital prize in the lottery of matrimony.
The happy young couple will go to housekeeping at once in the cozy cottage on Q Street owned by H.D. Harrel, which the groom has all furnished for his bride.
Many friends extend hearty congratulations to MR. and MRS. MCCARTNEY and wish them a happy and prosperous wedded life.
