MATHER-COOPER - At the home of the bride's parents, Elder and Mrs. I. N. W. COOPER, near Lamoni, Iowa, Saturday morning, December 22, 1894, by Pres. Joseph SMITH, Mr. Joseph MATHER to Miss May COOPER.

The wedding march was played by Miss Ruby STEDMAN; and Mr. Wm. J. MATHER and Miss Esther COOPER acted as groomsman and bridesmaid.

A host of invitations were issued and a very large crowd assembled to witness the ceremony.

The wedding feast of which the large crowd partook, was prepared by Mrs. Robert TURNER and Mrs. Samuel KEOWN.

The representatives of the Patriot were denied the pleasure of being present by press of business cares, and hence extend their congratulations and best wishes now.

Mr. MATHER as a successful merchant tailor, and his now estimable wife as a successful teacher in our school for years, need no introduction to our readers.

The happy couple left the afternoon of their wedding day for Canada, to visit with relatives of Mr. MATHER.
