A pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Brendan's Parsonage, Leon, Wednesday evening at 7:00 o'clock. The contracting parties being MR. RAYMOND E. MULLIN and MISS JULIA E. CHASTAIN, both of Leon.
The wedding ceremony was performed by Rev. Father J.C. Maher, Pastor of the church. The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of pearl grey messaline with bead trimmings. The groom wore the conventional blue serge.
The bride is the daughter of MR. and MRS. C.E. CHASTAIN, of near Leon, and is a very charming young lady. She attended the Leon High School for two years. The groom is a young man of sterling qualities and one of Decatur County's prosperous farmers. They will reside on the groom's farm northeast of Leon.
A large number of friends extend congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple.
