A very pretty home wedding was solemnized at the home of MR. and MRS. E.A. LOCKWOOD in Weldon at high noon Friday, September 5th, when their daughter, MISS HELENE, was united in marriage to DONALD J. PRICE, of near Van Wert.

Rev. H.G. Barr, Pastor of the Christian Church at Pleasantville, Iowa, performed the ceremony in the presence of a few of the immediate friends and relatives. The ring ceremony was used and little JENNIE LOUISE LOCKWOOD, cousin of the bride, carried the ring in an American Beauty rose. MRS. O.P. LATIMER, an aunt of the bride, sang "For You Dear," and "Because," accompanied by MRS. MABEL LOCKWOOD. Mendelshon's wedding march was played by MISS GLADYS PRICE, sister of the groom.

The bride wore a suit of rookie brown tricoline and carried American Beauty roses. She is a graduate of Weldon High School and has unusual musical ability. The groom is the son of MR. and MRS. IRA PRICE, who reside near Van Wert. He is a member of Company A, l68th Inf., Rainbow Division, and served nearly two years in France. The happy couple were the recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts.

After the ceremony they left on a motor trip for a few days' visit with relatives and friends and will be at home after November l on their farm southeast of Van Wert. The out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Price, of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. O.P. Latimer and son, Robert, of Shenandoah, Mrs. B.J. King and daughters, Helen and Florence, of Osceola, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Price, of Van Wert, Mr. and Mrs. S. Lockwood, of Osceola, and Robert C. Hills, of Winterset, Iowa.
