MR. HOYLE MCCONNELL and MISS ESTHER CREES, both of Grand River, were united in marriage on Wednesday, September 3, by Rev. P.C. Kenton, at his home in Decatur. They were attended by MISS MATTIE ALEXANDER and DONALD CREES, brother of the bride.
The bride was beautifully attired in white silk georgette over light blue silk. The groom wore a blue serge suit.
MISS ESTHER will be sadly missed in her large circle of friends, especially at church and Sunday School, as she has been organist for over two years and the little folks will miss their teacher, as she has taught the little folks' class for a long time.
MR. and MRS. MCCONNELL will for the present make their home on a farm near Grand River. Their many friends extend congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy life together.
