A pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Brendan's Parsonage in Leon, Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, the contracting parties being WM. BUCKINGHAM and MISS HAZEL EDNA MULLINS, both of Leon. The wedding ceremony was performed by Rev. Father J.C. Maher, Pastor of St. Brendan's Catholic Church. The attendants were JULIA and JOHN MULLINS, sister and brother of the bride. The bride was attired in a handsome gown of white satin charmeuse, trimmed in silk braid and wore a beautiful strand of pearls. The bridesmaid wore a dress of wine collored messaline. The groom wore a suit of dark brown.
The bride is a daughter of MR. and MRS. J.W. MULLINS, of near Leon, and is a charming young lady. She is a graduate of the Leon High School and for several years has been one of Decatur County's most successful teachers. The groom is a young man of sterling qualities and one of Decatur County's prosperous farmers. They will reside on the groom's farm near Decatur. Congratulations and best wishes are extended to MR. and MRS. BUCKINGHAM from a host of friends.
