On January 4th, about seventy-five invited guests assembled at the home of MR. and MRS. PETER STREET, of Grand River Township, to witness the marriage of their daughter ALICE to MR. J.A. MANS. At l2:30 p.m. as Miss Shields played the wedding march the bride and groom entered the parlor. Rev. A. C. Heckathorn asked the important questions and they took upon them the sacred vows of matrimony. Congratulations were followed by an invitation to the dining room where a superb dinner was served. The occasion was one of great social pleasure.

The bride and groom are both industrious and highly respected young people. As their many friends wished them happiness and success it seemed but to echo their future prospects. Their home will be near the residence of the bride's father. May joy and happiness be their lot.
