On Sunday, April 5th, occurred the pretty home wedding of EVERETT E. WALKER and MISS LINNIE E. MACHLAN, Rev. Blair officiating. At high noon they took their places in the parlor to the strains of music played by Miss Daisy Walker. After the ceremony and congratulations, the guests repaired to the dining room where a bounteous repast was prepared and everyone did ample justice to the feast. Only the parents, grandparents and cousins of the contracting pair were present. The bride wore a pretty gown of light blue cashmere and carried a bouquet of bride's roses. The groom wore the conventional black. The groom is one of Decatur County's most prosperous young farmers and a man of good character and habits. The bride is one of Fairview's most charming young ladies and well worthy of the man who has chosen her for a life companion. Several useful presents were received as tokens of friendship from their friends. The heartiest congratulations and best wishes of their many friends will follow them through life.
